This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Research technician to assist in studies of spelling and reading and related skills in children and adults.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contact schools and daycare centers to arrange children’s participation.
Running child and adult participants in studies.
Helping enter and analyze data collected
Complete administrative tasks as assigned, including management of IRB protocols
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
BA in psychology or related field such as education.
Experience with children.
MA in psychology or related field. Knowledge of the International Phonetic Alphabet. Knowledge of statistical programs.
Previous experience working in a research lab in psychology or a related field.
This position requires regular contact with teachers, parents, and children in the St. Louis region. This contact will be for the purposes of recruiting study participants, obtaining parent context, and testing, and will occur multiple times per week.

The hiring range for this position is $12.70 - $15.97 per hour.
