Under the direction of the Principal Investigators (PIs), the Study Coordinator will coordinate the collection of data from a large, randomized controlled trial of an attachment-based intervention among low income Latino/a mothers and teenagers in collaboration with Latino Health Access. The Study Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment, training, and intervention efforts with Latino Health Access; conducting training, participant assessment, and intervention sessions with mothers and teens; assist PIs in writing, monitoring and maintenance of IRB protocols; and the training of research assistants in the coding of observational and narrative data. The Study Coordinator will present preliminary analyses and progress updates at weekly research meetings of the laboratory. The Study Coordinator will be integrated into the research team and be able to cooperate and share duties including training of other staff members and undergraduate students.Applicants must be fluent in Spanish (and ideally be native Spanish speakers) because the incumbent in this position will be responsible for conducting assessments and interventions in Spanish.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
