Seattle, Washington - Swedish Medical Group is seeking Neurointensivists to staff the Neurocritical Care Unit. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidate will have fellowship training and BC/BE in Neurocritical Care or Critical Care Medicine. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team environment. FTE positions of 0.5-1.0 are available depending on preference and primary specialty training; potential shared positions in Inpatient Neurology, Critical Care Medicine, and Anesthesiology are possible. Qualified candidates may be considered for medical directorship of the unit as part of the duties. The Neurocritcal Care Unit collaborates closely with the Swedish Neuroscience Institute, which provides advanced, progressive treatment for a wide range of brain, spine and central nervous system conditions. We have a roster of world-class neurologists and neurosurgeons, leading-edge operating rooms, and telehealth access for patients outside the area. The 28 bed Neurocritical Care Unit is staffed by Neurointensivists, and is soon expanding to 34 beds.
