North Spring Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is an 87-bed, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed, Joint Commission accredited residential treatment facility serving children and adolescents ages 9 to 17 with a broad spectrum of psychiatric service needs. We additionally have two capacity expansions planned for completion over the next 12 months due to the high demand for our services. Our strategic plan for the past two years has been centered on improving fidelity to our evidence-based clinical methodology.
In September 2015 we opened a 15-bed Acute Psychiatric Services hospital for children and adolescents ages 7-17.
We are currently recruiting for a Therapist to join our clinical team. Preference for Therapist licensed in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Clinical Psychologist) but will consider qualified candidates with Resident in Counseling designation.
Key responsibilities: 1. Provide psychotherapy services for residents to include individual, family and group therapy scheduling and facilitation of treatment team reviews and documentation 2. Attend all treatment teams for assigned residents 3. Attend weekly clinical supervision 4. Coordinates multifamily/group/family education group 5. Staff training, as needed 6. On call/weekend coverage, as needed 7. Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the facility

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education).
Must be licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist) OR under a current, approved supervision plan. Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC.
At least a year of recent experience with children/adolescents.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
