Part Time Lecturer for Department of School Psychology

The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Rutgers University invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the Department of School Psychology during the 2018-2019 academic year (September 4, 2018 through January 2, 2019 for the Fall Semester) and (January 22, 2019 through May 17, 2019 for the Spring Semester).
The position entials teaching doctoral level courses in the Department of School Psychology. Candidates will assume primary responsibility for developing or refining course syllabi, presenting high quality lectures, and evaluating students based on course expectations and program-wide competencies. PTL’s are expected to adhere to high quality instructional practices that integrate multiple modalities and approaches, such as whole class lecture, small group activties, videos, role playing etc.
Minimum Education and Experience:
A doctorate in school psychology, clinical psychology, or related field relevant to course content area;
Strong communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated knowledge or expertise in the specific course content
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Prior teaching at college level and/or related experiences
