Assistant Professor, Cognitive Psychology: The Department of Psychology at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level. We are interested in individuals from all areas of cognition, including: perception and attention; learning and memory; thinking, reasoning and decision-making; language and communication; motor planning and navigation; as well as less traditional areas that complement and bridge interests across the Department. A focus in the research on characterizing and explaining behavior is preferred, though an integrative approach that includes neuroscientific, computational, developmental, and/or other techniques is welcome and supported by excellent facilities. We seek outstanding researchers who will contribute effectively to both graduate mentoring and undergraduate teaching. We especially encourage members of minority groups, women, persons with disabilities, and covered veterans to apply. Yale University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer. Yale values diversity among its students, staff, and faculty and strongly welcomes applications from women, persons with disabilities, protected veterans, and underrepresented minorities. Applicants should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, short research and teaching statements, 1-3 key publications (optional), and arrange for 3-5 letters of recommendation via http://apply.interfolio.com/52942.
