The Psychology Department at Rowan University invites applications for Lecturer, a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position with the possibility of renewal contracts to begin Fall 2019. Successful candidates with teach a total of 24 credits over two semesters. In addition to teaching responsibilities, successful candidates will be required to make meaningful service contributions to our undergraduate and graduate programs and to the department. These contributions may include, but are not limited to, advising student research, developing program assessment materials, analyzing assessment data, providing in depth career and graduate school information to undergraduates, and developing external internship sites. The Department is seeking individuals with demonstrated excellence in teaching experimental courses with expertise in developmental, social, industrial/organizational, human factors, and/or forensic/psychology and law. Candidates who use teaching methods or theories addressing populations that are underrepresented or undeserved in psychology or social sciences are strongly encouraged to apply. The minimum qualification for the position is a Master’s degree; candidates with doctoral degrees are preferred. In addition to our new graduate programs that includes a Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology, the Department of Psychology offers a BA in Psychology, BS in Psychological Science, Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Minor in Neuroscience with Biological Sciences.
