Posting Summary: Primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate certification courses in elementary education; serving on and/or chairing dissertation committees; supervising pre-service teachers as well as developing and maintaining a line of research and publication.
Responsibilities will also include working collaboratively with department, college and university faculty and area partner schools; performing service and administrative tasks necessary to enhance program, department, college, and university goals and objectives; performing related tasks necessary to ensure excellence as an Education Program Provider at Tennessee State University; and using technology for synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
The successful candidate will be able to foster an environment of professionalism and collaboration, work toward continuous improvement as an education provider, and demonstrate exceptional ability to function as part of a team with university faculty and the community of practice.
