The Department of Psychology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin Fall, 2019. We seek applicants with a strong research program, potential to attract extramural funding, a commitment to excellent mentoring and teaching, and who are license eligible. Area of research specialization is open. We intend to hire a clinical scientist with expertise in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) who can provide DBT training and supervision. We are eager to further advance the diverse quality of our faculty.
Our clinical program has a clinical science focus; we are a founding member of the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System and most of our graduates are active researchers. We are also accredited by APA.
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or Ph.D. All But Dissertation (ABD) in Psychology.
