The Lecturer in Psychology position is full time, non-tenure track with a yearly-renewable contract. Candidates for the position must demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, ability to integrate technology in the classroom (including blended and online teaching) to enhance the learning process, and the skills necessary to inspire, motivate and empower a diverse student body to succeed.
The ideal candidate would be able to teach undergraduate courses in general psychology, statistics, clinical and social psychology and justice courses. Service to the campus is also required.
The candidate who fills this position is expected to teach undergraduate courses in psychology in support of academic programs on the Chillicothe campus.
Specialization is open, although preference will be given to applicants with training in Clinical and Social Psychology and the ability to teach general/introductory psychology and statistics courses.
PhD in Psychology is required by the start date of the appointment.
Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred, in particular in the areas of statistics, clinical and social psychology.
