The Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, associate or full professor position in School Psychology. The appointment is a nine-month appointment, effective August 16, 2019.
This position will teach graduate courses such as social-emotional assessment, cognitive assessment, legal/ethical issues, school consultation and/or school-based interventions; provide clinical supervision and practicum training to graduate students; maintain an active research program with evidence of and continued potential for extramural funding; and serve in a faculty rotation as Program Chair for the School Psychology Ph.D. and Ed.S. programs.
Candidates must have completed the Ph.D. in School Psychology or closely related field, such as Child Clinical Psychology. Ideal candidates will provide evidence of excellence in teaching, clinical training, and clinical supervision of master's level and doctoral level graduate students. Preference will be given to candidates who are certified school psychologists and licensed psychologists.
