The Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology Program at Antioch University Santa Barbara invites applications for a full-time appointment in its CAMFT Award-winning program that emphasizes authentic relationships and an understanding of diverse identities and perspectives. Graduates of the program fulfill requirements for LMFT and LPCC licensure in California, while gaining extensive preparation through experiential learning, instruction, and local community internships. The program offers concentrations in Healthy Aging, Latino Mental Health, and Somatic Psychotherapy. Faculty with expertise in these areas are invited to apply. The selected candidate will teach, mentor and advise graduate students, and administer all aspects of the degree program, including the hiring and supervision of program faculty, leading faculty and student recruitment/retention efforts, program assessment, and budget management.
We seek a highly collaborative, motivated, and hands-on faculty member who is enthusiastic about innovative teaching and learning. The desired candidate will have a record of professional accomplishment as a leader in his/her field, with an appropriate record of scholarship, and a working knowledge of a range of delivery models including technology-mediated education.
This is a full-time core faculty appointment in the Masters of Art in Clinical Psychology Program. As a member of the faculty, the Chair has responsibilities in engagement in student learning, scholarship and creative work, community service, and institutional citizenship.

Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a closely related field; California license as a psychologist, LMFT, LPCC is highly desirable;
5-7 years of experience in teaching and administration, especially in the areas of: budget planning, administrative leadership, course and concentration development, and development of new degrees;
Appropriate record of scholarship and a professional portfolio showing experience in area of expertise;
Experience with program evaluation, assessment and accreditation;
Experience in technology mediated education and information literacy;
Experience in working with adult students and a diverse faculty and student body highly desirable;
Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of the AUSB community;
Willingness and ability to collaborate with Program Chairs at AUSB and on other AU campuses;
Ability to work independently with a high degree of independent judgment and the ability to meet goals in a timely manner;
A strong commitment and understanding of the Antioch University mission.
