The psychology department at Westfield State University invites applications for an assistant professor position in Physiological Psychology. This tenure-track position will be effective September 1, 2019. The successful candidate will be able to teach Physiological Psychology, Drugs and Behavior, Research Methods I and II, Statistics, Introduction to Psychology, and classes in her/his/their area of expertise.
Requirements: A doctorate in psychology or related field is required (ABD will be considered). Westfield State University is a teaching institution with a 4/4 teaching load and the successful candidate must provide evidence of excellence in teaching. While teaching is emphasized, scholarship and other professional activities are also important considerations in the review process.
